Welcome to our new greenkeeping page that will give you insight to a lot of what’s happening and how the course is looked after.

Latest update
It has been a truly horrific start to 2026 weather wise, excluding the snows thawing water we have had an additional 146mm rainfall since the 18th of January, as you can see by the attached photos, all taken this week that the course is completely waterlogged with drainage and the older ditches not being to cope with the consistent deluge of rain, we have had over 325% more rain for an average January.
During the heavy downpours water has been running along the ground from the top of the hill at the 2nd,3rd and 8th and 9th into the ditches at the 4th and right of the 8th green, the ditch at the 8th hasn’t been able to cope and has been overflowing running onto the 4th green, the drain that runs into the ditch at the left of the 9th approach is also failing badly, as you can see in the video attached.
These 2 drainage issues will be our #1 priority next Autumn to avoid it happening in future years.
I totally understand and feel for everyone champing at the bit for a game in 26, but as like every other Inland course in Aberdeenshire the weather has not been kind to us.
Thank you for your understanding
