At Inverurie Golf Club, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of golfers and fostering a lifelong love for the game.
In recent years, our junior section has grown from just a handful of members to capacity at 200 active junior golfers across multiple age groups. Our thriving programme provides young players with the perfect environment to learn, develop, compete, and most importantly — enjoy their golf.
Whether your child is picking up a club for the first time or already competing, Inverurie offers a supportive and structured pathway for every stage of their journey.

Getting girls into golf
As a club we are extremely proud of the work we have done to introduce more girls into golf. We annually run Scottish Golf Girls golf hubs and were awarded a girls scholarship which allowed 14 girls the opportunity to further develop their skills.
What Junior Membership Includes
Free Coaching Sessions
Year round sessions led by our experienced Junior Organisers covering all aspects of the game — from fundamental skills to course management. This continues through the winter months using local facilities to ensure our juniors can continue to develop.
Full Course Access
Junior members enjoy access to the course via ability tees, allowing them to practice and play in a structured, confidence-building way.
Age-Appropriate Competitions
Opportunities to compete in structured events designed to build confidence, experience, and sportsmanship.
Practice Facilities
Full use of:
6 – hole short course
Covered 4 bay range
Short game area
Putting green
Safe & Welcoming Clubhouse
A friendly, inclusive clubhouse environment where juniors and families are always welcome.
Guidance & Mentorship
Alongside our junior organisers we have 20 volunteer coaches that are there to support and guide our juniors in their golfing journey.
