Welcome to Inverurie Golf Club

Inverurie Golf Club is a friendly members club with more than 700 golfing members and around 100 dining club members. The clubhouse is attractively designed on two levels with a very pleasant outdoor veranda overlooking the first and eighteenth holes. We extend a warm welcome to visitors, corporate events and golf outings for whom a rewarding golfing experience and day-out is on offer.

The course, 5564yards, par 69, features an initial gently undulating opening nine holes followed by a more testing and tight finish with broom, gorse and tree-lined mature woodland. This presents a fair challenge to players of all standards who also enjoy natural attractions such as roe deer, woodpeckers and buzzards. The experience is enhanced by some panoramic views especially towards the east - taking in Uryside, Keithhall Estate ( the ancestral home of the Earl of Kintore ), and the ever expanding community of Inverurie.

The nineteenth at Inverurie offers a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where you can round of your day with a quality meal and drink, check out the history of the club, chill out on the veranda with a small refreshment or perhaps mingle with the members and enjoy the regular entertainment. However, an ideal alternative is to visit Steven McLean's well stocked Professional's Shop and browse through the latest golfing equipment, or discuss possible reasons why the course presented a slightly more difficult challenge than you anticipated!

Location

Inverurie is situated 16 miles (26km) along the A96 trunk road from Aberdeen to Inverness. To access the golf club, turn off the A96 at the Western (Blackhall) roundabout, following signs for Inverurie. The Royal Burgh of Inverurie nestles in the heart of rural Aberdeenshire. It lives up to its motto: "Urbs in Rure" - Town in the Country. Only a 25 minute drive from Aberdeen - the Oil capital of Europe, and barely 15 minutes from Aberdeen Airport, the Royal Burgh of Inverurie is one of Scotland's most vibrant and fastest growing communities. Boasting a proud heritage, with many cultural and historical highlights, it holds a unique position - having received honours from Robert The Bruce and Mary Queen Of Scots - in recognition of its loyal role in Scotland's illustrious past. As the bustling and thriving capital of the Garioch (pronounced Geeree), the market town of Inverurie is a main focal point for the surrounding area, with much to offer locals and visitors alike.

Looking forward to your company at Inverurie Golf Club!
